REFLEXIVE PEACE PRACTICE (RPP) PROJECT

Heavy fighting between government forces and M23 rebels in Masisi along with brutal ADF militant attacks, has severely weakened the eastern region. This rising violence has triggered massive civilian displacement while incapacitating medical access to the rapidly growing Ebola outbreak cases. The UN implemented sanctions on rebel commanders while the Congolese government launched a new advisory council to prosecute war crimes.
