Niger's week of 28 September–2 October 2026 was a low-information week with no major new attack or political event could be confirmed in the open sources available. The situation is scored critical on the strength of unchanged conditions, namely a post-mutiny junta dependent on Russian and Algerian support, an active ISSP/JNIM insurgency in the west, and a contracting civic space.
